Who We Are
Allen County GSB is a guardianship service provider that was established to protect and exercise the legal rights of indigent Allen County individuals who are not able to act on their own behalf. Once a Probate Court judge has deemed a person incompetent, the GSB assists those clients with all needs in the community. We can assist with housing, food, medical services, payee services and social benefits. We regularly advocate for the best possible care and living situation for their medical and mental health needs.

Our Services
Public guardianships are often necessary if the person does not have any family or significant other to help with life changing issues. Allen County GSB can act as a guardian of last resort for individuals that don’t have anyone to advocate for their needs. We collaborate with all local service providers, and can assist with medical treatment, benefits and supportive services.

Our Goal
Our goal is to assist clients only when assistance is required due to their specific disability. We allow our clients to live their lives with few restrictions – managing balance between support and self-determination. This balance requires the engagement of our client’s entire support system.
